Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with implementation of summer supplemental educational programs for preschool, elementary, middle and/or high school migrant students residing in in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, and Bucks counties.
- Work with students one-on-one and in small groups to provide academic support
- Assist with regular communication with Migrant Education Program staff and families
- Attend summer in-service, family meetings, and weekly staff meetings
- Support family involvement in the education of their children through translation/interpretation, information sharing, training, and referrals
- High School diploma required
- Enrolled in college or some college preferred
- Bilingual speaking required (Spanish or Q'eqchi)
- Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
- Experience working with preschool, elementary, middle and/or high school students preferred
- Basic computer knowledge, preferred
- Must have Act 33 and 34 Clearances
- Must have Federal Criminal History record

Monday - Thursday, 6 hours/day (8 AM - 2:30 PM)
Prep Day: June 15th
Program Dates: June 23rd - July 31st
Hourly Rate (2025-2026 School Year)
The IA pay scale is broken down below for you to reference.
- 0 - 9 yrs experience = $18.72
- 10 - 13 yrs experience = $20.57
- 14 - 17 yrs experience = $22.41
- 18 - 25 yrs experience = $24.26
- *Bachelor's degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale = $18.72
- *Master's degree is equivalent to 15 yrs experience on the scale = $22.41
