Job Purpose:
Participating as a crucial member of the Executive Leadership Team this role is
responsible for overseeing Ancillare’s Financial Operations domestically and
internationally, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring financial health and
compliance. This role manages both strategic and operational functions including
financial planning and analysis, accounting oversight and risk management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and
structure.
• Develop, coordinate, analyze and report the company financial performance
to Executive Leadership (financial performance, projections and other special
projects as required).
• Proactively manage and develop financial strategies by forecasting capital,
facilities and staff requirements and identifying monetary resources. Prepare
short- and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with
internal management and external parties.
• Establish and direct a budgeting process. Coordinate and direct the
preparation of financial forecasts and report variances.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating
corrective action and minimizing impact of variances.
• Follow good documentation practices during the performance of all work
activities.
• Oversee timely VAT report development internally and coordinate filing with
international accounting agencies.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial
trends to assist CEO to perform responsibilities. Proactively manage cash flow
and financial capital and communicate capital requirements and implications
of business decisions to CEO.
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and
procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting
and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other
corporate policies)
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism to
meet operating needs.
Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting including international
accounting and all pertinent GAAP and regulations including Sarbanes –Oxley
compliance.
• Partner with HR and Legal for activities including employee benefits,
retirement plans, corporate insurance, and related activities. This includes the
coordination of activities with all locations and subsidies.
• Maintain a documented system of global accounting policies and procedures.
• Organize, motivate, manage, and lead finance/accounting staff who manage
accounts receivable, accounts payable and credit functions. Oversee as may
be required resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Oversee training and supervision of finance staff in their duties. Establish,
cascade, and monitor departmental goals and objectives while fostering
professional development.
• Establish collaborative working relationships with independent CPA firms,
colleagues, and subordinates.
• Ability and desire to work a project to completion meeting and or exceeding
timeline deliverables.
• Demonstrate and drive the Ancillare mission, values, and strategy. Participate
and contribute positively to process improvement initiatives.
• Work outside routine hours as may be needed to support a Global organization.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance within prescribed guidelines.
• Travel domestically & internationally as may be required.
• Assist in all areas within the department and company as necessary; perform
other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related
field is required. Master’s degree, MBA preferred.
• CPA, CFA, or CMA required.
• 10+ years’ progressively responsible experience including leadership roles
required.
• Strong financial acumen with public accounting, internal audit and operational
finance experience required.
• Prior working experience with global organizations required.
• Prior successful experience scaling company for organizational optimization.
• Previous VAT working experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a supply chain management environment, mid-size
company or LP required.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with banking institutions required.
