Your Recipe For Impact — What You’ll Do
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you’ll help turn data into insights that support smarter decisions across Restaurant Operations. By partnering with analysts and cross‑functional teams, you’ll contribute to reporting and analytics solutions that help leaders Make a Difference in how we serve our guests and operate our restaurants. You’ll Serve with Heart by ensuring data accuracy and reliability, Win as One through close collaboration and shared problem‑solving, and Move Forward Boldly by learning new tools, embracing challenges, and growing your analytical skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Day-to-Day Ingredients — Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will:
- Support development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using enterprise data sources
- Perform basic data analysis and preparation to support business reporting needs
- Assist in translating business questions into clear reporting requirements
- Test and validate reports to ensure accuracy and data integrity
- Help document report logic, data definitions, and naming standards
- Participate in quality assurance activities following established guidelines
- Track project tasks, updates, and documentation during report development
- Collaborate closely with analysts to learn BI tools, data structures, and processes
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program (minimum 80 hours completed)
- Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence
- Basic analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to document work clearly and consistently
- Effective time‑management and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment
- Proficiency using computers and standard office tools
- Coursework or exposure to data analytics, statistics, or information systems
- Familiarity with reporting tools, spreadsheets, or databases
- Experience with data validation or testing activities
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
