Job Description:

• Looking for strong Java J2EE, Springboot Microservices, React UI, Openshift Cloud and Mongo DB, KAFKA.
• Financial domain/Collections background

In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Additional Notes:

• Backfill
• Contract - 6 months, possibility to extend or convert
• RTO schedule - 3 days in office MANDATORY, Monday and Tuesday required, Thursday encouraged

Supplier Expectations:

• All resumes must be submitted in beeline or will not be reviewed
• No soliciting of resumes, nor communication should occur with the Reports to Manager while position is live.

Intake:

• Will be working on a legacy Collections application.
• Looking for strong Java developer with React and Core Java back end.
• Migrating from Java Server Faces to React.
• Would be on a team of 10 supporting the collections app.
• Just finished phase 1 of the migration, likely have another year on the project.
• Using a lot of AI on the conversion.
• Large, complex application that needs a strong Java person to support it.
• Will work on microservices back end with Mongo DB.
• Working with Openshift cloud, any type of cloud experience can be considered.
• Should be able to do filters in Kafka.
• Will be primarily focused on the back end, others are taking the lead on the React front end.
• Is a Kanban team doing quarterly releases.
• Contractors aren’t regularly asked to join the releases, maybe rarely shift a day to Saturdays.
