About the Role
We are looking for an FP&A Leader to work directly with and report to the Chief Financial Officer of a high-growth solar and storage financing company in Puerto Rico. This is a true financial planning and analysis role with direct executive exposure and significant impact on strategic decision-making. The role is expected to evolve into a senior finance leadership position as the platform scales.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Develop and maintain financial models (3-statement, cash flow, portfolio projections)
- Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and communicate key findings
- Analyze portfolio performance including originations, collections, yield, and losses
- Support warehouse facility and lender reporting requirements
- Assist in preparation of materials for investors, lenders, and rating agencies
- Build KPI dashboards and management reporting packages
- Support systems implementation and process automation (Oracle)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited university
- 2–5+ years of experience in a finance or FP&A role
- Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions) and Power BI
- Experience in structured finance, asset-based lending, or loan portfolios preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle a plus)
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- MBA a plus
- CPA not required
