Key Responsibilities:
- Core Portfolio & Commercial Support – Serve as the marketing lead for all Business Continuity Projects (BCPs) and Price, Pack, Architecture (PPA) projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery across packaging and marketing assets. The Associate Brand Manager manages workstreams within the commercialization stage-gate process, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and approvals, and overseeing the packaging artwork process inclusive of briefing creative, gathering feedback, and managing revisions. This role supports the Senior Brand Manager on larger Core packaging renovations, assisting with execution, cross-functional coordination, and artwork development while ensuring alignment to brand standards. The Associate Brand Manager partners closely with Legal, Regulatory, Operations, and PCM teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and maintain uninterrupted business continuity while keeping marketing milestones on track.
- Communication, Creative Development & Awareness Media Support – Support the Senior Brand Manager and Director of Equity & Communications on creative and brand equity initiatives that drive awareness and consistency across touchpoints. This role oversees the paid media trafficking process end to end, including managing asset inputs, ensuring accurate delivery to media partners, coordinating timelines, and maintaining organized asset libraries. The Associate Brand Manager supports creative development by briefing internal creative teams, auditing assets for brand consistency and accuracy, organizing final assets within shared folders, and assisting with commercialization packages.
- Strategic Analytics & Reporting – Lead the development of monthly industry and consumer trend reports, highlighting competitive campaigns, new launches, and relevant category activity to inform brand and creative strategy. The Associate Brand Manager supports ad hoc data analysis as needed, synthesizing insights across brand performance, media, and consumer behavior. This role also assists with quarterly KPI and performance reporting, coordinating inputs across paid, owned, and earned channels and helping translate data into clear, actionable insights for the broader marketing organization.
- Ad Hoc Equity Team Support – Provide ongoing ad hoc support to the Equity team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including assisting with budget tracking, processing invoices, coordinating product sends, managing samples, and supporting special projects as needed. This role acts as a flexible resource across the team, helping ensure priorities stay on track and initiatives move forward efficiently.
- Working knowledge of a brand’s communications ecosystem and how touchpoints work together to drive awareness and equity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights for the team.
- Awareness of the competitive landscape, particularly small to mid-scale CPG brands, and ability to flag trends and learnings.
- Collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building skills across internal teams and agency partners.
- Strong aesthetic judgment with high attention to detail in creative and packaging reviews.
- Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal, able to convey ideas and updates effectively.
- Adaptable, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such Marketing, PR, Advertising. Passion for CPG industry.
- 3+ years of brand marketing experience in food, beverage, beauty, or health & wellness brands
- Experience assisting with packaging design projects, artwork reviews, or commercialization processes.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage timelines, deliverables and cross functional collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
