Senior Manager (m/f/d) Global Reefer Product Excellence

In this role as a Senior Manager / Team Lead (m/f/d) Global Reefer Product Excellence you will lead a team of reefer experts, guiding and supporting our global reefer organization. Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional reefer services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving commercial growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Excellence team, providing direction, coaching, and day-to-day support to team members
• Deliver hands-on support and training to Hapag-Lloyd Regions and Areas on all technical and digital reefer topics
• Support the Global Reefer Strategy through analytics, continuous improvements, and the implementation of existing and new reefer products (e.g., Hapag-Lloyd LIVE, Cargo Shield, Controlled Atmosphere)
• Own and further develop commercial and technical reefer processes for Cold Treatment, Controlled Atmosphere, High Value Reefer Cargo, Cargo Shield Reefer and other reefer-related services
• Drive the performance of reefer value-added services, identifying growth opportunities and generating additional revenue
• Contribute to defining requirements for reefer products and services
• Represent Hapag-Lloyd as a reefer product expert at trade fairs, supporting reefer sales teams
• Participate in customer meetings to provide reefer product expertise and support

Qualifications

• Solid sales background and know how to drive commercial performance together with Regions and Areas - turning product and service capabilities into measurable revenue impact

• Reefer technical knowledge - or the curiosity and attitude to learn quickly - to confidently support our reefer sales teams
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Hapag‑Lloyd applications (e.g., Qlik, FIS), or a strong willingness to learn them
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and experience working in agile product/delivery environments is beneficial
• Willingness to travel internationally, as well as a very good command of written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus
