This position is a seasonal job with the expectation of 20-25 hours per week from the beginning of June to potentially October. Hours will be determined through conversations with the candidate and the hiring managers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Cut grass and weeds with hand or power mowers, rakes grass and leaves, trims hedges or shrubbery, and grades lawns and park areas.
· Picks up and disposes of rubbish, tree branches, food waste, and other waste and litter.
· Assists in planting, transplanting, pruning, trees and plants.
· Maintains baseball/softball diamonds, and performs other general maintenance of parks, building and grounds, and daily cleaning of park buildings, including painting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
· Must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Ability to operate a variety of mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
· Ability to follow oral and written instructions with minimum of direct supervision.
· Ability to communicate effectively, and exercise good judgment, courtesy and tact when dealing with the general public.
· Ability to operate Village equipment in a safe manner.
