Executive Assistant to the Chief Development Officer

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, some evenings and weekends as required

Summary Of Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for advanced administrative support duties, primarily for the Chief Development Officer, providing comprehensive assistance and managing the support functions for the office of the CDO, the Advancement Board, and other boards and committees as needed. Serves as an “agent” of the Development Office and assumes front-line interface with donors and senior volunteer leadership. This person will have excellent organizational and proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft, including Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint, and extensive experience in general computer usage.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation maintained throughout employment.
  • Adequate automobile insurance maintained throughout employment.

Competencies & Requirements

  • Superior organizational skills and the proven ability to develop effective systems for managing information.
  • Excellent secretarial and typing skills, including using standard business machines.
  • Demonstrated relational and leadership skills.
  • Work experience in which organizational skills have been demonstrated.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and recognize the need for sensitivity in handling information, including about personnel, the Advancement Board, donors, and the organization.
  • Comfortable in a role that is visible and accessible.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay And Benefits

  • Hourly wage: $24.41-$27.00 (non-exempt)
