Role Description
Full-time, hybrid, based in Barcelona. As a Software Engineer at Systellar you will join the founding team, own significant parts of synapse™ end to end, and have a real say in what gets built, why, and how. This is not a role where you slot into an existing system. You help build it.
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of professional software engineering experience
- Full-stack range: TypeScript, React, Node.js, relational databases, containerisation and CI/CD
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure end to end: deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, or similar, working with infrastructure-as-code, and debugging issues in production
- Strong fundamentals: you reason from first principles and understand what sits beneath the abstractions
- Experience building complex, data-dense interfaces
- Familiarity with agentic systems and AI-powered product development
- Experience in a startup environment, ideally building enterprise or B2B SaaS software
- Product sensibility: you think about users and outcomes, not just implementations
- Clear and direct communicator, comfortable engaging with customers
- Based in Barcelona or surroundings
