We’re looking for a Director to lead our Applied Solutions value-added product and services offering to address real-world customer and business problems. This role sits at the intersection of customer needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.

You’ll work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate complex problems into scalable, repeatable product solutions. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong customer empathy, and the ability to move from bespoke solutions toward productized offerings. This role is ideal for someone who’s equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on executor who wants to be a part of transforming our business.

DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for applied solutions, balancing customer-specific needs with scalable product strategy
  • Lead a team partnering with customers, sales, and solutions teams to deeply understand problems and define solution requirements
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and delivery teams to improve processes and governance to execute solutions from concept through launch
  • Identify opportunities to productize repeatable solutions and reduce custom work over time
  • Lead and teach discovery efforts including customer interviews, workflow analysis, and validation sessions
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer impact, feasibility, and business value
  • Measure success through adoption, customer outcomes, and business metrics
  • Serve as the leader of the applied solution initiative to ensure it is scaled and delivers the expected revenue and margin results

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of product development processes
  • Strong large-scale project management skills
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Drive for results
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Continuous Improvement champion
