Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Implement and maintain CNC machining operations, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to support accurate manufacturing and inspection.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Value Stream Mapping and Toyota Production System methodologies.
- Manage and maintain machine tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with ISO AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop documentation and training materials to support manufacturing best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor manufacturing operations metrics and report on performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC machining and machine tools.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Familiarity with ISO AS9100 quality management standards and compliance requirements.
- Certification or training in Value Stream Mapping and continuous improvement methodologies a plus
- Strong skills in manufacturing operations management and process automation.
- Experience working in regulated industries or environments requiring strict quality controls.
- Proficiency with manufacturing software tools and data analysis platforms.
