Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven experienced Vice President of MRO Sales to lead our commercial organization and accelerate growth across our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) portfolio. The position plays a key role in shaping sales strategy, expanding market presence, and driving overall commercial success. Required Experience.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement MRO sales strategies to capture new business, penetrate markets, and drive revenue growth aligned with overall business objectives
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams
  • Lead long-term planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the sales department
  • Partner with senior leadership on pricing, positioning, strategic partnerships, and expansion opportunities
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and pipeline management to closing and retention

Sales Management

  • Establish performance targets and KPIs; monitor and drive team performance
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and execution of major deals
  • Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets

Customer & Market Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, strategic customers, and global partners
  • Strengthen partnerships with distributors and service providers
  • Serve as the primary escalation point to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine offerings
  • Drive new customer acquisition and account reactivation initiatives
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and assess business needs

Operational Strategy

  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and product management to ensure service quality and delivery performance
  • Optimize sales processes, CRM utilization, and pipeline management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the sales organization
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Hanwha AeroTechnix services to identify upsell opportunities and address customer needs
  • Lead contract renewals through effective negotiation of terms, pricing, and commitments
  • Partner with cross-department to resolve invoicing, accounts receivable, and commercial issues, when applicable

Must-have:

  • Experience in commercial Aviation MRO


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of senior sales leadership experience in MRO
  • Strong understanding of FAA, EASA, and other regulatory frameworks impacting maintenance and repair operations
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and leading complex sales organizations
  • Experience managing high-value accounts and complex deal cycles


Skills & Expertise

  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities
  • Deep understanding of MRO supply chains and market
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment


Additional Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screening, including a background check
  • Regular travel required to meet customers and partners
  • Travel expectation: approximately 25–50% (or more, depending on business needs)
  • Attendance at industry trade shows and conferences as needed
