PE Teacher & Football Coach (Extracurriculars)

SEK International School Dublin is seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Physical Education Teacher, Extracurricular Activities Coordinator, and Football Coach to join our team. This role combines teaching, coordination, and sports coaching responsibilities within an international and collaborative school environment.

Mission

To promote students’ physical development, well-being, and teamwork through high-quality Physical Education teaching, while enriching school life by coordinating engaging extracurricular activities and supporting football training programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to Secondary and Baccalaureate students.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate extracurricular activities, including trips, weekend activities, and special events.
• Support the football program as an assistant coach (Real Madrid methodology).
• Foster students’ physical, social, and emotional development through sport and activity.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements

Academic Background:

• Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching certification.

Professional Experience

• Previous experience working in international schools.
• Experience organizing extracurricular activities and events.
• Football coaching qualification (UEFA C or equivalent).
• Strong background as a football coach is highly desirable.

Languages

• English: Minimum C1 level (required).
• Spanish: desirable.
