**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Obtain and maintain any required clearance and access approvals to work at Kennedy Space Center.

- Must possess an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training card or have the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. The 10-hour course must be from an OSHA-authorized provider.

**SUMMARY**
The Supply Specialist supports the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) custodial contract by ordering, receiving, storing, and delivering custodial supplies and chemicals to assigned locations. This position ensures that field teams have the materials they need to meet contract requirements, maintains organized and accurate stockrooms and inventories, and uses BACs internal supply and procurement system to manage orders and budgets.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor supply and chemical usage across KSC custodial locations and maintain sufficient on hand stock to support approximately two weeks of operations with an appropriate buffer.
- Develop and submit purchase requests in the internal supply/procurement system based on need, budget, and management direction; provide order and receipt documentation to the APM/PM as required.
- Receive and verify deliveries against purchase information, check quantities, item types, and obvious damage before accepting and storing supplies.
- Maintain accurate, current inventory records and ensure stockrooms are organized for easy access, rotation, and inventory control.
- Deliver custodial supplies and chemicals to designated custodial closets and command centers on base according to established routes and schedules; provide emergency supply support when directed. Ensure to keep egress routes clear.
- Ensure quantities delivered to each location are sufficient to support expected work until the next scheduled delivery, consistent with established stocking levels.
- Communicate clearly with site management and custodial leads regarding delivery status, shortages, backorders, and any issues that could impact service.
- Handle, transport, and store custodial chemicals in a safe manner and in accordance with training, labeling, and BAC and KSC requirements.
- Observe chemical storage areas and command centers for obvious issues (e.g., leaks, improper containers, missing labels, or apparent misuse) and promptly report concerns to the site management team and designated safety personnel; do not attempt to correct unsafe conditions beyond training and direction.
- Follow instructions for PPE use and participate in required safety, chemical handling, and related training.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled supply and chemical storage areas, ensuring aisles, exits, and safety equipment are accessible.
- Monitor basic condition of chemical dispensing or command center equipment within the supply area (e.g., leaks, low product, or visible malfunction) and notify management when repairs or service are needed.
- Communicate actual usage trends, recurring shortages, and unusual consumption patterns to the site management team so ordering and budgets can be adjusted.
- Work in a team environment and interact professionally with a diverse workforce and customer base.
