AI is being deployed in places where failure isn't an option - defence, healthcare, public safety, critical infrastructure. We build the testing software that lets organisations verify these systems actually work: their performance under stress, their robustness, their safety.

Our clients include government agencies, military organisations, and commercial operators running AI in high-stakes environments. We were founded by Temasek, are headquartered in Munich and Singapore, and are currently scaling across Europe.

The role

You'll be a cornerstone engineer on Approved Intelligence, our AI assurance platform. Our AI Engineers and Scientists develop world-class evaluation methodologies - your job is to turn those into robust, scalable production software that customers actually run.

This is a broad role. Depending on your strengths, you'll lean into backend, frontend, infrastructure, or security. We track these as weightings, not separate titles, and expect depth in your primary area plus working knowledge across the stack.

Core: Python, FastAPI, Docker, React, TypeScript, AWS or GCP, Git

Also in play: Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Next.js, CI/CD tooling

What you'll work on

• Architecting and shipping backend services and APIs that power the platform
• Owning major components end-to-end - design, deployment, monitoring, long-term maintenance
• Building the Docker Compose service orchestration that underpins our core platform
• Building data-rich frontends where the work calls for it
• Translating complex evaluation requirements into pragmatic, durable solutions, working closely with AI Engineers and Product

What we're looking for

• 3-7 years shipping production software (not prototypes, not notebooks)
• Strong Python and hands-on REST API experience (FastAPI or similar)
• Comfort with Docker and multi-service architectures
• Cloud experience on AWS or GCP - compute, storage, managed databases
• Solid fundamentals: testing, code review, system design, debugging
• Able to operate independently in a fast-moving environment and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders

Bonus

• Kubernetes and Helm in production
• Frontend depth: React, TypeScript, Next.js, data viz
• Infrastructure: Terraform, CI/CD design, observability
• Security background: AppSec, DevSecOps, SOC 2 or defence procurement
• LLM integration, model serving, or GPU/CUDA work
• Experience in defence, pharma, or other regulated industries
• Air-gapped or on-premise deployment experience

Working at Resaro

• Munich-based, hybrid Tue-Thu in office
• Working language is English; German is a plus
• You'll join a scaling startup with co-HQs in Munich and Singapore, growing the engineering org significantly over the next 18 months
