We’re partnered with a global leader in data infrastructure and cloud solutions (multi-billion $ revenue, strong European presence) that is continuing to invest in its commercial sales organisation across Germany.
They are looking for a District Sales Manager to lead and scale a high-performing team, driving revenue growth across the mid-market/commercial segment.
The Role:
This is a leadership-focused role with a strong growth mandate, responsible for managing and developing a team of sales professionals while driving both new business and expansion within existing commercial accounts accounts.
You will take ownership of team performance, pipeline development, and execution of strategic sales initiatives. Alongside coaching and mentoring your team, you will play an active role in key deals, helping to open new opportunities, win new logos, and grow strategic customer relationships.
Working across a broad commercial customer base, you will engage with senior stakeholders and support your team in navigating complex sales cycles. You will position the organisation as a trusted partner across areas such as data infrastructure, hybrid cloud, AI, and cyber resilience.
The role involves close collaboration with internal technical specialists and partners to deliver tailored solutions, as well as driving structured sales execution across the team, including account planning, pipeline creation, and multi-touch campaign engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in enterprise IT sales, combined with people management responsibility
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership/team lead role
- Track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong background in mid-market or commercial sales environments
- Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and pipeline generation, with a hunter mindset
- Experience with structured sales methodologies such as land and expand and account-based selling
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in German and English
- Ability to build and leverage internal and external networks
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles
