You will have direct leadership of four Regional Managers, the Regional Growth Leader and an Executive Assistant, reporting to the Head of National, Australia.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing leadership and strategic direction of a combined portfolio of clients across CQ, FNQ & NT.
- Collaborating closely with National Executive group to manage and grow the region’s industry footprint.
- Being accountable for revenue performance, client profitability and overall portfolio growth.
- Ensuring exceptional client service levels and satisfaction across the portfolio.
- Driving consistent execution of Aon’s best-practice operational standards and Aon United Blueprint, including adoption of new tools and workflow improvements.
- Leading the People Strategy for the region – aligning people and business strategies, and ensuring People Leaders jointly own employee engagement, goal setting, talent/development planning and remuneration & performance reviews.
- Maintaining strong cross‑functional engagement and effective relationships with internal partners and external groups such as industry bodies and business forums.
You Will Ideally Demonstrate
- Proven experience in people leadership, including leading and developing people managers.
- Strong background in managing and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability in senior‑level client engagement and relationship management.
- Business development experience, including application of BD project management principles.
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry, both local and global.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive consistency in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, high levels of emotional intelligence and maturity.
- High personal motivation, resilience, adaptability and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Tier 1 compliant, PS146 qualification (essential).
