Development Engineer Power Electronics (m/f/d)

For one of our highly innovative clients in the aerospace and high-performance electronics environment, we are currently looking for talented engineers who would like to contribute to the development of cutting-edge power electronics solutions for demanding space applications in Salem-Neufrach (Germany)

The company develops and manufactures highly reliable power supply systems for satellites, launchers and other aerospace technologies within an international and technology-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative and high-quality power electronics solutions and actively support the realization of customer-specific requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development and architecture design of innovative analog and digitally controlled power supply systems
• Design and development of detailed electronic circuits and control concepts
• Development and optimization of control algorithms
• Validation of concepts and designs through simulations, analyses and prototype testing
• Technical coordination and monitoring of PCB layouts
• Definition of commissioning, verification and testing procedures
• Design and setup of test environments and validation setups
• Commissioning, testing and optimization of first prototypes and devices

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
• Good knowledge in the area of DC/DC converters and power electronics
• Professional experience in power electronics development and circuit design
• Experience with simulation and validation of electronic systems is considered a plus
• Structured and solution-oriented working style combined with strong technical understanding
• Good German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
