Role Mandate

The Senior Category Manager owns end-to-end commercial performance of assigned product categories across the E-commerce business.

This role exists to ensure that:

  • assortment strategy supports revenue growth,
  • vendor partnerships strengthen margin and availability,
  • and commercial plans translate into measurable digital and omnichannel performance.

The role operates as a full-stack category ownership position spanning buy-side negotiations, sell-side performance strategy, and cross-functional delivery across pricing, promotions, launches, and inventory readiness.

This is not a reporting or coordination role.

It is a business ownership role with direct impact on revenue and margin outcomes


Profile & Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in category management, buying, merchandising, or commercial roles within:
  • consumer electronics retail
  • omnichannel commerce
  • marketplaces
  • Demonstrated ownership of vendor negotiations and pricing strategy
  • Experience managing category P&L responsibility
  • Comfort operating across both strategic planning and execution delivery
  • Strong commercial judgment balancing revenue scale, margin protection, and inventory efficiency
  • Experience working with major electronics brands or distributors preferred
