Role Mandate
The Senior Category Manager owns end-to-end commercial performance of assigned product categories across the E-commerce business.
This role exists to ensure that:
- assortment strategy supports revenue growth,
- vendor partnerships strengthen margin and availability,
- and commercial plans translate into measurable digital and omnichannel performance.
The role operates as a full-stack category ownership position spanning buy-side negotiations, sell-side performance strategy, and cross-functional delivery across pricing, promotions, launches, and inventory readiness.
This is not a reporting or coordination role.
It is a business ownership role with direct impact on revenue and margin outcomes
Profile & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in category management, buying, merchandising, or commercial roles within:
- consumer electronics retail
- omnichannel commerce
- marketplaces
- Demonstrated ownership of vendor negotiations and pricing strategy
- Experience managing category P&L responsibility
- Comfort operating across both strategic planning and execution delivery
- Strong commercial judgment balancing revenue scale, margin protection, and inventory efficiency
- Experience working with major electronics brands or distributors preferred
