Role Description

📊 We’re Hiring: Controller 📊

Take the lead in overseeing accounting and financial operations across multiple divisions. As Controller, you’ll manage a small team, ensure accurate reporting, maintain compliance, and provide leadership with actionable financial insights.

• Supervise accounting staff and oversee AP/AR, credit card approvals, check signing, and RFP processes.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close, prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Support multi‑division operations including Membership, Partnerships, and special initiatives.
• Ensure grant compliance and reporting, including federal and state requirements.
• Partner on audits, tax filings, budgets, and special projects.
• Deliver financial insights to guide leadership decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years in supervisory or management roles.
• Experience with close processes, reconciliations, and multi‑division financial operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• CPA and nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• Grant reporting/compliance experience a plus.
