Job Summary
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing key account portfolios. They are responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, providing commercial door and hardware expertise, and suggesting innovative solutions resulting in increased profitability.
Duties/Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining key accounts and providing ongoing client support.
- Developing and implementing client relationship management strategies.
- Communicates with clients and leads to identify and understand their commercial door and hardware needs/expectations; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs; ensures satisfaction.
- Identifying new business leads and contacting prospective key clients to promote products and services.
- Establishing efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients and internal departments.
- Recommending and implementing improvements to the management of key client relationships.
- Handling client challenges and finding innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Other Duties as assigned
- Experience in the Door, Frame, and Hardware Industry a plus
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in business or a related degree, preferred
- DHI Certifications a plus
- Experience working in Comsense is a plus.
- Knowledge of door hardware, hollow metal, wood doors, STC, FSC and Leed.
- Knowledge of building codes as they relate to door, frame and hardware applications such as fire codes,
