Technical Lead

Technical Direction & Strategy:

• Defines the technical roadmap and architecture for the squad's projects.
• Adopts, implements, and enforces technical standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Makes decisions on programming languages and technology stacks.
• Engineering Excellence & Code Quality:
• Performs code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Oversees testing and release procedures.
• Team Guidance & Mentorship:
• Mentors developers, particularly junior members, to improve their technical skills.
• Provides technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance
• Project Delivery & Collaboration:
• Breaks down technical requirements into actionable tasks and contributes to sprint planning.
• Collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Facilitates communication between the team and external stakeholders.
• Common Competencies:
• Problem-Solving: Acts as a "firefighter" for technical hurdles.
• Leadership & Communication: Fosters collaboration and manages conflict within the team.
• Technical Depth: Possesses a strong background in software development.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $1,30,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
