- Owning statutory accounting, governance, internal controls, and audit/tax interactions
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the accounting team (internal or external); promoting accountability and continuous improvement
- Leading full close cycles. Monthly/quarterly/annual; ensures accuracy and completeness
- Overseeing and checking all balance sheet reconciliations. (intercompany, AP/AR, bank, accruals, prepayments)
- Ensuring the preparation of statutory financials per local GAAP for each country in the scope. Ensuring full compliance
- Ensuring the preparation of consolidate accounts per IFRS. Ensuring full compliance
- Preparing/providing data for VAT, CIT, WHT; cooperating with Corporate Tax, external advisors, and authorities
- Primary audit liaison, managing full audit cycle
- Developing, implementing, and enhancing internal controls and local accounting policies
- Driving process optimization
- Working with Treasury, Controlling, Corporate Finance, FP&A and business stakeholders
- University degree;
- ACCA or equivalent;
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience;
- Experience leading teams;
- International environment experience;
- Advanced Excel; English fluency;
- Experience in Financial services sector is advantageous
