IT Project Manager

IDR is seeking a IT Project Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading infrastructure and networking projects for a managed IT services provider in the technology solutions industry. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and high satisfaction.

Position Overview for the IT Project Manager:

• Manage and lead IT infrastructure projects including cloud migrations, network upgrades, and wireless deployments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, leading meetings and coordinating project activities.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and leadership by driving projects to completion with minimal oversight.
• Utilize project management tools to track milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items across multiple projects.
• Ensure clear communication and documentation throughout all project phases, providing status updates and managing client expectations.

Requirements for the IT Project Manager:

• Prior IT Project Management experience required – min 5 years
• Strong infrastructure/network project background
• Experience managing projects such as: Network migrations, Azure recovery initiatives, Wireless expansions, SD-WAN, Cisco upgrades
• Comfortable in client-facing environments and leading meetings independently
• Experience with tools/platforms like IT Glue, AutoTask, ClickUp, SharePoint
