Director, Manufacturing Data & Analytics

Hybrid - Dallas, TX

$200-250k salary


I’m currently working with a global medical device company who have an exciting new opportunity for a Manufacturing Analytics Director to join their growing Smart Technology team in Dallas. The company are actively driving digital manufacturing, enterprise digital systems and operational technology initiatives across their global manufacturing plants.


This is a new position for the business and we’re looking for someone who can lead the strategic development and deployment of advanced data analytics across a multi-manufacturing site and supply chain network. The role would be responsible for managing a multi-year capability roadmap aligned with manufacturing priorities, as well as defining a portfolio of scalable use cases. Other responsibilities include:

  • Drive manufacturing data architecture and AI/ML governance strategies to support scalable, risk-controlled operational analytics solutions
  • Own and evolve global manufacturing KPI frameworks, dashboards and governance across metrics such as PPV, inventory and OEE
  • Oversee operational AI/ML governance, monitoring, retraining and compliance processes to ensure sustainable and secure deployments
  • Setup lean pilots to gather insight into evolving AI/ML and visualization landscapes
  • Lead partnerships with external vendors and system integrators, establishing outcome-based SOWs, commercial models and delivery success criteria
  • Build and manage a prioritized manufacturing analytics and data science portfolio aligned to measurable operational and financial value drivers


Key skills & experience:

  • Demonstrable leadership background within a manufacturing data or analytics capacity – ideally come from a regulated environment, such as Medical Devices, Pharma, Life Sciences, MedTech or BioTech
  • Knowledge of MES, SCADA, Historians, IoT, time series modeling and computer vision
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on leading/scaling a team as well as working cross-functionally with other business areas, locations and site leaders
