The Opportunity
As a Senior Account Director, you will lead the Studio’s most commercially significant relationships with strategic depth and commercial confidence — bridging the day-to-day rigour of account management with the broader vision of the studio's client services function and ensuring revenue and creative growth.
You are a trusted partner to clients at the most senior levels and a driving force behind YourStudio's reputation for delivering exceptional, growth-oriented relationships. Success in this role means clients stay, grow, and advocate for the studio — while the team develops and thrives.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Client Leadership
- Own and lead a major Tier 1 account, plus an additional account as the business feels is appropriate, setting the strategic direction for the relationship and ensuring long-term client satisfaction, growth and retention.
- Operate as the senior point of contact for key clients — building partnerships that go beyond project delivery to genuine strategic advisory.
- Anticipate client needs, challenges, and market shifts, proactively bringing ideas and solutions that add value before they are asked for.
- Drive measurable revenue growth across your account through strategic account planning, farming, and the identification of new opportunities.
- Lead pitches, proposals, and scoping exercises for both existing and prospective clients as required, working with creative and strategy teams to build compelling, commercially sound responses.
- Collaborate with the Client Services Director on cross-studio growth initiatives and pipeline development.
- Maintain oversight of all projects within the portfolio — ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and consistently meets the studio's quality standards.
- Hold accountability for the commercial performance of accounts, including P&L management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Identify and address risks.
- Model the high-performance behaviors and commercial thinking expected at a senior level.
- Collaborate globally with the Client Services Director, Creative Directors, and Delivery teams to ensure our clients get the absolute best of YourStudio.
- You have significant experience leading major accounts within a creative, design, or experience agency environment.
- A proven track record of growing accounts—both in terms of revenue and creative bravery—through nurturing deep relationships.
- You’re a pro at managing complex budgets and negotiating at a senior level.
- You can translate a client’s wildest ambitions into a clear, actionable studio plan.
- You are a trusted, empathetic communicator who can hold your own with global brand leaders and junior team members alike.
- You lead with composure through complexity and ambiguity, always staying solutions-focused.
