🔎 Business Analyst – Retail Banking (4‑6 yrs)

Location: Mumbai

We’re looking for a self‑motivated Business Analyst to join our ALMT IT team and drive end‑to‑end delivery of retail‑banking applications using both waterfall and agile approaches.


What You’ll Do

  • Gather & translate requirements – produce clear BRD/FSD documents that developers and testers can act on.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders – work closely with business users, on‑shore BAs, product owners and development teams.
  • Drive testing & quality – design test plans, execute functional, regression & performance tests; support UAT and L3 support.
  • Facilitate delivery – use Jira (or similar) to track work, estimate effort, manage sprints, and ensure timely releases.
  • Share knowledge – conduct user trainings, mentor teammates and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.


Must‑Have Skills & Experience

Requirement Details:

Domain

Retail Banking – loans, deposits, and related products (knowledge of trade life‑cycle a plus).

Documentation

Strong ability to create BRDs, FSDs & functional release notes.

Methodologies

Hands‑on experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall delivery models.

Tooling

Proficient in Jira (or similar issue‑tracking tools).

SQL

Solid SQL querying skills for data validation & analysis.

Experience

4‑6 years as a Business Analyst in the banking/IT space.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and documentation abilities.


Nice‑to‑Have

  • Exposure to Treasury processes or Data‑warehouse concepts.
  • Familiarity with trade life‑cycle and data‑warehouse fundamentals.
