Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Staff Accountant based in Eugene, OR. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will also support financial planning, provide insights for strategic decision-making, and collaborate with various departments to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Strong expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
• Experience in the manufacturing sector or familiarity with cost accounting is preferred
