What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance, and driving seamless integration across functions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Manage subcontractor relationships and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance to align deliverables and schedules.
- Monitor performance metrics and enforce compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with external partners.
- Facilitate issue resolution and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Desired Skills
- Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment
- Experience with a Variety of Subcontract Contract Types
- Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies and Procedures
- Experience with FARs and DFARs
- Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P), SC Navigator and SAP
- Leadership Skills
- Ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.
- Business acumen, attention to contractual detail, and ability to make business-based decisions.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
- Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions
- Experience in negotiating favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
