Jr. Accountant (Business Manager) – This is a 5-6 month contract.

Insightful Talent is supporting a client who is looking for a Business Manager. The Business Manager is central to the day-to-day operation bridging customer-facing billing support with internal coordination across account management, contractor compliance, and leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Specific functions of the position are as follows:

  • Assist walk in customers with billing questions and payment processing.
  • Prepare invoices, processing payments, and account reconciliation.
  • Provide operational support to General Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate with Contractor Compliance regarding facility access fees and invoice accuracy.
  • Support Account Managers with account questions or discrepancies.
  • Work daily on Accounts Receivable to collect outstanding customer balances.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from customers and vendors.
  • Effectively communicating with personnel, member, and co-workers via email, over the telephone, and /or in person.

Required Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced team environment
  • Have some customer service experience
  • Marine or manufacturing experience is a plus
  • 4-year degree in Business / Accounting / Finance is a plus
