Founding Research Engineer, Model-Training

We’re working with an AI/biotech startup hiring a Founding Research Engineer to help build and scale biological foundation models and agentic AI systems.

What they’re looking for:

• Experience training or improving LLMs/generative ML systems

• Strong Python + PyTorch/JAX background

• Experience with RL, post-training, evaluation systems, and distributed training

• Deep understanding of GPU performance, distributed systems, and ML infrastructure

• Someone who enjoys owning problems end-to-end in a fast-moving environment
