Our client is looking for someone to join their cross-commodity desk. You build fundamental views on East Coast energy and take direct P&L ownership of the positions that follow. High autonomy, full accountability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute profitable speculative trading positions across North-Eastern Power and Gas markets.
  • Translate analytical findings into trade ideas and scale them.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, internal and external analysis functions to refine and leverage know-how and market views.


Experience:

  • Degree in mathematics, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field
  • 3–10 years in US energy trading (power, gas), fundamental analysis, or both
  • Experience in North-American markets
  • Familiarity with ICE, Nodal Exchange, and OTC broker markets
