Summary
Assist in the Fabrication Department where/when help is required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
include following the directions of the fabricators or Supervisor, working from blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal instructions.
Use of basic hand tools including routers, sanders, jig saws but
not including larger equipment such as table saws, joiner, and chop saw.
Plastic welding limited to non-critical components as determined by Supervisor.
Fit and assemble parts into completed assembly.
Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly.
Confer with Fabricator or Supervisor to resolve any assembly problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop and occasionally required to kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception.
COMMENTS
On the job training position. Initial RCRA training will be received within 6 months of hire date and will continue with annual RCRA training.
