Accounting Assistant

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of performing accounting administrative functions, be able to multitask, and have a skill set that pays attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining confidentiality. The individual must be comfortable working with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks, must have excellent organizational and customer service skills, both internal and external. The Accounting Assistant will assist in the various stages of general ledger, revenue, accounts payable, passenger refunds, travel agent commission, and other miscellaneous duties.

Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- 2+ years experience in accounting.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Accuracy in daily work and other projects.
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
- Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions.
- Experience with Great Plains preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
