About The Role
As part of a high-performing paediatric service, you will work across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings, supporting children and families throughout Northwest Queensland.
- Provide high-quality clinical care across a busy paediatric unit, including inpatient, on-call, and retrieval services
- Gain valuable experience through outreach to remote communities and collaboration with visiting subspecialties
- Supervise and support junior medical staff while actively contributing to teaching and education
- Base salary ranges between $133,848 and $154,749 p.a. (L4 to L9).
- up to 6 weeks annual recreational leave accumulation with up to 27.5% loading when taken.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

- Requires the incumbent to have obtained a degree qualification from a recognized tertiary institution and hold Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
- Successful completion of the FRACP paediatric clinical and written exam or equivalent with RACP certification.
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
