Sourcing Professional - Buying/Procurement will be responsible for managing end to end procurement and contract activities, including issuing PRs/POs, monitoring ACV utilization, coordinating eRO processes, and ensuring timely contract and PO closeouts. Oversee vendor management, billing cycles, invoice verification, and cost reconciliation while ensuring compliance with commercial terms. Maintain accurate tracking of project spend, SOC, Incremental Oil, and manpower costs, and support alignment between PCSB and Baker Hughes systems through PMT administrative coordination.
As Sourcing Professional - Buying/Procurement a, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the timely preparation and issuance of Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), including BHOSM POs and PCSB electronic Release Orders (eROs).
- Assist in allocating Approved Contract Value (ACV) for each Service Contract (SC) and monitor ACV utilization to ensure compliance and prevent overruns.
- Manage Purchase Request Forms (PRFs) for all contracts and ensure alignment with commercial terms and contractual requirements.
- Track and manage PCSB eRO issuance and utilization to avoid cost exceedances.
- Oversee the closeout of Purchase Orders and Service Contracts upon completion of the drilling campaign.
- Support PMT administrative tasks and ensure proper integration between PCSB and Baker Hughes management systems.
- Participate in monthly resolutions for disputed project items and support reconciliation activities.
- Assist in verifying claims and invoices from PCSB and vendors/subcontractors, including Statement of Contribution (SOC), Common Operating Fees (COF), and manpower charges.
- Manage the progress and preparation of all billing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to monthly billing deadlines (Timesheets and IOL billing to PCSB).
- Accurately manage and track the Monthly SOC Tracker (Direct Charges), Incremental Oil, and BH manpower utilization costs (Actual vs Budget) in a timely manner.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline (preferred).
- Have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience to meet client work authorization requirements.
- Have strong skills and knowledge in SAP and other finance and supply chain management systems.
- Have strong communication and collaboration abilities, with proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa, enabling effective coordination with internal teams and Petronas project stakeholders.
- Have the ability to plan and implement strategic sourcing solutions, including obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing, and finalizing contract terms with approved and potential vendors.
- Have experience conducting detailed vendor cost analysis and managing internal supplier approval processes for new vendor registrations.
- Have experience preparing and presenting project spending reports while collaborating with the Asset Manager, Cost Controller, and FP&A teams on budgets and policy updates.
- Have the capability to coordinate with the AP team to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies, ensuring smooth and timely financial processing.
