Social Media Specialist

Overview:

Join a dynamic and growing social media team in a pivotal role that blends creativity with strategic execution. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing influencer marketing campaigns, developing organic content, and supporting a variety of consumer-facing accounts across platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects with national and regional clients in hospitality, real estate, healthcare, and food & beverage sectors. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment that values innovative ideas and impactful storytelling, helping to elevate brand presence and engagement.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of social media experience, preferably within an agency setting
• Proven expertise in influencer marketing and contact development
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Meta (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout, Tiger, or Meltwater
• Excellent communication, presentation, and pitching skills
• Ability to develop engaging organic content and execute paid social campaigns
• Comfortable working in a hybrid NYC-based environment, with flexibility for onsite events

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supporting consumer brands in the food, hospitality, or retail industries
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools
• Experience managing influencer relations for activations and events
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Agency experience is highly valued
• Prior involvement in new business proposals and pitching
