The focus of the role
Working with a wide range of stakeholders including Account Management, Sales, Solution, Legal, and Finance, you will ensure that risks and commercial risks and best practices are identified, assessed, and managed throughout the full deal lifecycle and applied during service delivery.
Your key areas of responsibility include:
- Sales phase: shaping deals from a commercial contract management perspective to ensure contracts are manageable during delivery
- Delivery phase: ensuring contract compliance and identifying opportunities for optimization
As the Contract Manager, you will:
- Act as a key member of bid and account teams, owning commercial and contractual matters for assigned opportunities and accounts
- Support large and complex bids (RFPs, RFQs) and lead senior‑level commercial negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as the primary commercial and contractual point of contact for key client accounts
- Embed contract management processes and best practices within accounts and across delivery teams
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and alliance partners where required during sales and delivery
- Proactively manage risk, resolve conflicts, prevent disputes, and identify opportunities to improve margin and commercial outcomes
Your profile:
- 4–6 years of experience in commercial contract management for large and complex contracts and/or accounts
- Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to build long‑term relationships with internal teams and clients
- Fluent in English; basic Dutch
- Completed Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline
