Senior Solutions Architect

We are partnering with a leading global Data & AI organisation is expanding its Ireland-based Insurance Platforms team and is looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to help shape the next generation of enterprise insurance solutions.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a newly established R&D and platform evolution function, working on large-scale insurance new business and servicing platforms used across international markets. You’ll play a key role in defining end-to-end architecture, influencing technical strategy, and driving modern cloud-native solutions across distributed global teams.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will work closely with product, engineering, delivery, and data teams across Ireland, the UK, India, and the US to design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture role combining technical leadership, solution ownership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery support. You will help shape architecture across application, integration, cloud, and data domains while contributing to strategic platform evolution initiatives and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for complex insurance platform initiatives
• Define scalable architecture patterns across cloud, integration, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to align technical delivery with business goals
• Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, performance, and scalability standards
• Support platform modernisation, simplification, and technical debt reduction initiatives
• Contribute to AI-driven solution capabilities and emerging enterprise architecture patterns
• Engage with customers and stakeholders through demonstrations, walkthroughs, and solution discussions

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect within enterprise environments
• Strong background delivering solutions within the insurance sector (Life & Pensions, Annuities, General Insurance, etc.)
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures, ideally within AWS environments
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, messaging/event-driven architecture, and data integration
• Experience working across distributed global teams in complex delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills
• Exposure to AI-enabled architectures or agentic AI frameworks would be highly advantageous.
