Senior Manager / Director – Data Consulting

We are partnering with a leading consultancy currently growing their team and looking to hire at Senior Manager / Director level. This is a client-facing role combining hands-on delivery, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership within the data space.

You will join a high-performing, growing data practice, leading complex engagements across a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and advanced data solutions, and who is passionate about driving tangible outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data-driven consulting engagements, from discovery to implementation
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, building strong and lasting client relationships
• Translate business challenges into data strategies and technical solutions across areas such as analytics, data engineering, governance, and AI
• Provide technical leadership and oversight across project teams, ensuring best practices and high standards
• Contribute to the growth of the practice through thought leadership, innovation, and market engagement
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
• Support business development activities including proposals, client presentations, and solution design

You will have

• Proven experience in a Manager, Senior Manager or Director level role within consulting or a related field
• Strong background in data strategy, analytics, data engineering, or AI/ML
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
• Experience delivering large-scale or complex data programmes
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and drive opportunities

Technical Expertise (one or more of the following)

• Data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Data engineering tools and frameworks
• BI & visualisation (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Advanced analytics / data science / AI
• Data governance and architecture
