Recruiter (Contract) – Technology & E-Commerce Sector
📍 Seattle, WA (Fully Onsite)
💲 $38–40/hour
📄 2-Month Contract
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Recruiter to support onboarding and recruiting operations within a fast-paced technology and e-commerce environment. This role focuses heavily on candidate experience, operational excellence, and high-volume process execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and can quickly learn systems and workflows while working independently within established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruiting and onboarding processes for new hires
- Coordinate candidate communications, documentation, and status updates
- Conduct reference checks and assist with offer and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes and SLAs
- Escalate blockers or issues appropriately to leadership or partner teams
- Provide timely responses to candidates and stakeholders while maintaining a positive experience
- Assist with employee status changes and exit processes as needed
- Utilize internal systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to manage workflow and data accuracy
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, or a related field
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes consistently
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, documentation, and multiple internal systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and ability to meet quality metrics and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, or compliance-related processes
- Familiarity with high-volume or fast-paced corporate environments
- Exposure to areas such as immigration, relocation, screening, or IT logistics
- Ability to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Comfortable supporting multiple business lines or geographic regions
