About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our growing Accounting & Finance search team. This individual will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and placing top-tier accounting and finance talent across the Chicago market.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for accounting and finance positions ranging from Staff Accountant through Director and executive-level searches
- Partner closely with clients and internal leadership to understand hiring needs, company culture, and search priorities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of accounting and finance talent across multiple industries
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and manage communication throughout the hiring process
- Guide candidates through offer negotiations, resignation management, and onboarding preparation
- Maintain accurate and organized activity within the ATS and recruiting systems
- Develop long-term relationships with both candidates and clients to support repeat business and referrals
- Stay current on hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and market activity within the accounting and finance space
Qualifications
- 1+ years of recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for accounting, finance, tax, audit, FP&A, treasury, or finance leadership roles strongly preferred
- Strong sourcing and networking skills with the ability to identify high-caliber passive candidates
- Proven ability to manage multiple searches and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and accountability
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
