Your Responsibilities
- Processing purchase orders for IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and related services in line with company policies and approval workflows.
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, track order status, and resolve delivery or invoicing discrepancies.
- Supporting the maintenance of the supplier database, ensuring vendor information, contracts, and pricing agreements are accurate and up to date.
- Assisting senior buyers in sourcing activities, RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, and supplier comparisons.
- Collaborating with the IT, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Contributing to the tracking and reporting of procurement KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and vendor performance.
- Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and company procurement guidelines.
- A structured, reliable, proactive and detail-oriented way of working.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and the purchase-to-pay (P2P) cycle.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with IT product categories (laptops, software licenses, networking equipment, peripherals) is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, basic functions like SUMIF and XLOOKUP).
- Experience with or exposure to an ERP or procurement system (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, ServiceNow, or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of German or any additional European language is considered a plus."
