Applied Innovation is seeking a dependable and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in a full-time, Monday–Friday role from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with technology and delivering exceptional customer service. The Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing and maintaining office equipment at customer locations while representing Applied Innovation with professionalism and care. Training will be provided for the right candidate; prior experience is helpful but not required. This role includes driving a company-provided vehicle to customer locations, with a gas card, required tools, and training provided by the company.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and service a wide variety of office equipment, including multifunction copier devices.
- Maintain an assigned service territory and provide a high level of responsiveness and service quality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and internal teams to ensure customer service needs are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and service documentation.
- Follow established service procedures and safety guidelines.
- Operate a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and professional manner
- Represent Applied Innovation positively in all customer interactions, serving as the face of the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to plan work effectively and manage multiple service calls.

- Understanding and alignment with the organization’s core values.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record required.
- Factory certifications (Canon, Ricoh) preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of print drivers and basic network communication is helpful.
- Prior field service or technical repair experience is a plus, but not required.
