About The Role
As a key contributor within L3Harris’ growing APAC presence, the Territory Account Manager will lead sales and pipeline development across Australia and New Zealand. This role is responsible for driving opportunities for L3Harris Public Safety and Professional Communications solutions, both directly and through established channel partners.
Focusing on Public Safety (Police, Fire, and first responders), as well as the hydro and utilities sectors, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market share and strengthening customer relationships across the region.
You will own the full sales lifecycle, with accountability for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and territory profitability. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to identifying and engaging new prospects, while also nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships through tailored, solution-based selling.
In addition, you will execute a robust channel strategy, working closely with resellers and regional partners to maximise reach, drive performance, and unlock new opportunities across the territory.
What The Role Will Involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across the territory.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including needs analysis and solution positioning.
- Build strong customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
- Influence procurement and position solutions competitively.
- Deliver presentations and support marketing activities (events, demos).
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to achieve outcomes.
- Manage key accounts and develop new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary customer liaison across technical and delivery teams.
- Demonstrate experience in customer retention and technology transitions (P25, LTE).
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience, or equivalent industry experience (10+ years without a degree).
- Demonstrated success in sales within Public Safety, P25, or related communications technologies.
- Experience working with government agencies (state/federal) and complex procurement environments.
- Strong consultative selling skills with a track record of building executive-level relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies for large, complex, multi-million-dollar deals.
- Experience across communications ecosystems (e.g. P25, LTE, IoT, radio, dispatch, infrastructure).
- Established networks within public safety, resellers, and industry partners.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to manage long sales cycles.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline/forecast management.
- Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Based in an East Coast Australian capital city.
