The role Junior Electrical Automation specialist is part of Plastchim - Talents: The Beginning – our international graduate program designed to develop future specialists and leaders through real business experience and structured development.

Your Role
The Junior Electrical Automation Specialist supports the Maintenance and Engineering teams in daily activities related to electrical and automation systems.
The role is focused on learning and gaining practical experience in the packaging industry, understanding processes and machines, and developing troubleshooting skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.
You will:
• Spend ~70% of your time on the production floor observing equipment and learning processes
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Participate in automation and LEAN improvement initiatives (~30%)
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily maintenance and monitoring of electrical and automation systems
• Assist in troubleshooting of equipment and automation systems under supervision
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities and follow maintenance plans
• Perform daily checks of utilities, substation, boilers and compressors
• Maintain accurate activity logs and basic technical documentation
• Assist in commissioning, machine adjustments and process improvements
• Participate in automation projects and LEAN manufacturing initiatives
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
What You Bring
Student (final year) or recent graduate in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Automation
• Mechatronics or similar
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Basic understanding of automation (PLC is an advantage)
• Good command of English
• Willingness to learn and develop in an industrial environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
