Accountant

To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant who wants to help build a strong financial foundation to support our international growth.

As an Accountant, you play a key role in ensuring the financial health and transparency of our organization. You work with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. You work in close collaboration with the Head of Group Finance & Administration.

Your Main Scope Of Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries (sales invoices, purchase invoices, bank statements, expense accounts, deferred and accrued charges…) to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and prepare payments
• Prepare sales invoices and ensure timely payment
• Processing of monthly balance sheets, income statements, yearly statutory accounts and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing
• Prepare monthly group consolidation focusing on eliminating inter-company transactions, in collaboration with the Head of Group Finance & Administration

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant domain
• Proven experience as accountant
• Proficient in Dutch
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail
• Proficient understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Odoo is a strong asset
• Able to work independently while being a committed team player
• Open-minded, self-aware, with strong interpersonal competencies
