Policy Analyst – Energy & Renewable Energy

Location: Hybrid / Flexible UK

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits


We’re supporting a major organisation operating within the UK energy sector as they look to hire a Policy Analyst focused on energy transition, regulation and renewable energy strategy.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across energy policy, regulation, market analysis or utilities strategy who wants to work on projects shaping the future of the UK energy market.


The role will involve:

• Monitoring market trends, policy developments and industry changes

• Analysing regulatory and commercial impacts across the energy sector

• Supporting strategic initiatives and business planning activities

• Producing market insight and analysis for internal stakeholders

• Engaging with industry stakeholders and external partners

• Supporting decarbonisation and renewable energy programmes


Ideal background:

• Energy, utilities or regulatory market experience

• Strong analytical and written communication skills

• Experience within policy, strategy, regulation or market analysis

• Understanding of UK energy markets and decarbonisation trends

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder engagement

Excellent opportunity for candidates from energy suppliers, consultancies, utilities, infrastructure or wider energy-related environments looking to step into a broader strategic role.
