Accounting Manager

Ferretti Search is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the Cleveland market to identify an experienced Accounting Manager ready to step into a high-impact leadership role within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Cleveland, OH

Compensation: $100,000–$120,000

Schedule: Full-time

What you’ll be doing

Month-End Close: Lead and manage month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities

General Accounting: Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, and account analysis

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and strengthen internal controls

Team Leadership: Mentor and support accounting staff while helping drive accountability and development

Operational Partnership: Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams on costing, inventory, and financial analysis initiatives

Audit & Compliance: Assist with audit support, compliance requirements, and adherence to accounting policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes

Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities

Exposure to inventory, costing, or operational accounting is a plus

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities

Strong communication skills and ability to partner across departments
